Course map and hole description
Titahi Golf Course Map

Hole No 1/10        462 metre Par 5

A great opening par five with, out of bounds down the right hand side. Cabbage trees ten meters in front of the tee requires an accurate opening tee shot in to the prevailing wind. Long second shot played down the hill to set up a short approach shot to the green. Water Hazard located behind the green.

Hole  No 2/11      301 metre Par 4

Small stream and wet areas crossing before the start of the fairway to catch the short miss hit tee shot. Small two tier green located snuggled up against the hill. Lateral hazard to the right hand side of the fairway.

Hole No 3/12       268 metre Par 4

From the Tee Box a great view of Paremata and the beach can be seen. Short par 4 which requires accurate tee shot to the top of the hill to allow a short approach to a flat green surrounded by steep banks. The steep bank in front of the green penalises the player if approach shot is too short.

Hole No 4/13       336 metre Par 4

Difficult par 4 with hilly fairway and the landing spot from the tee on the flat area 135metres out is the target. Short to medium iron approach shot to a large green.

Hole No 5/14              149 metre Par 3

A par 3 over a gully to a small green with a bank at the back to protect the over hit tee shot. An accurate tee shot is required to land the tee shot on the green with the prevailing wind swirling around.

Hole No 6/15              239 metre Par 4

A drivable par 4 for the low handicappers is protected on the left with pine trees and steep bank with heavy rough. On the right also is a regular catchment area for the inaccurate long tee shot. A medium to long iron safety tee shot is the shot to play and after a short pitch shot to the green a par should be easy.

Hole No 7/16              194 metre Par 3

One of the harder holes on the course and requires a long shot to the green. Prevailing winds from the right has to be taken into consideration. A par is a great score on this hole.

Hole No 8/17              253 metre Par 4

A short par 4 which requires an accurate pitch shot to the green. This pitch shot could be one of the most difficult shots in the book as it is a blind 30-50 metre shot to the green and slopes away from the player.

Hole No 9/18              132 metre Par 3

A two tier green and can be very difficult in southerly wind conditions. The ball needs to be on the correct tier or a three putt could eventuate. Out of bounds is on the right hand side.

Hole No 3/12 268 metre Par 4 Hole No 1/10 462 metre Par 5
